What is our responsibility as an owner in the USA?

I hear of a lot of people interested in real estate investments in the US sitting on the fence because of the fear of conducting themselves as a property owner and shying away from their responsibilities to tenants.

So let me simplify for you,

Regularly:

One month control of income and expenses on the management company's website (or in a report sent by email).

annual:

Municipal taxes - You can pay on the municipality's website with a credit card or ask the management company to pay for us. In Atlanta for example payment is made in October for the current year

Renewal of an insurance policy for the property - you can ask the management company to pay for us or directly with the insurance agent.

Submitting a tax report to the American authorities and to Israel - There are accountants in Israel who make the report to the American authorities (IRS) and the authorities in Israel can contact an accountant, tax advisor or perform independently.
